Incredible Creatures That Defy Evolution
This is a 3-volume DVD series that presents incredible animals which have characteristics that show intelligent design by a loving Creator. The information and videography are phenomenal and there is so much to learn and be amazed at in these videos. I created a worksheet to use with these videos to have my children (and some others I was teaching at the time) write up brief reports about their favorite creatures in each video.

Scavenger Hunts
I have frequently sent my children (and others who may be visiting) outside to do nature scavenger hunts. Sometimes we divide into teams (if there are more children present), sometimes there is a prize, and sometimes the reward is just the activity itself. You may use these or modify them as you need to for your area of the country, or the season.
Nature Scavenger Hunt - Collect items from nature and sketch creation in this hunt
Scavenger Hunt Outside - Hunt for pieces of nature
Digital Nature Hunt - For this one use a digital camera to bring back pictures of nature
Travel Scavenger Hunt - Use this one for long car trips

While studying the planets, I created a chart for the children to use to document basic information for each one. You might want to modify and remove Pluto, since this was made a while back!
